1. Istoria universului si a cosmologiei
Scurta descriere Cosmologia si astrofizica devin pe zi ce trece un element al culturii contemporane si nu poate fi conceput un absolvent de studii superioare (de orice specialitate sau domeniu) fara cunostiinte elementare in acest domeniu. Aceasta este rolul pe care il preconizam a avea acest curs, fara formule fara calcule matematice sau explicatii din fizica sofisticate dar cu o descriere ilustrativa a principalelor concepte si idei din astrofizica moderna si cosmologie. In plus vom da o atentie speciala oamenilor si a istoriei lor care au dezvoltat acest domeniu considerat, pe drept cuvint cea mai inalta aventura a mintii umane din timpurile moderne.

2. Cucerirea spatiului cosmic
Scurta descriere Tehnologia spatiala si explorarea spatiului cosmic, prin aceasta intelegind nu numai pur si simplu calatoria in spatiu dar mai ales explorarea spatiului si dezvoltarea de activitati de orice fel in spatiul cosmic (cercetare stiintifica, turism, etc.), s-au dezvoltat in ultima suta de ani si din acest punct de vedere toate institutiile legate de acest domeniu sint preocupate de diseminarea informatiei asupra activitatilor spatiale in rindul publicului larg, unul din motivele principale fiind atragerea tineretului spre acest domeniu. Acesta este scopul cursului de fata. Vom prezenta istoria tehnologiei spatiale de la inceputuri pina in prezent dar si principalele forme de interactiune cu societatea si personalitatile cele mai importante. Cursul este agreat/recomandat de Agentia Spatiala Romana. Cursul este dedicat celor doua aniversari importante de anul acesta : - Primul om in spatiu Yuri Gagarin 12 aprilie 1961 - Primul roman in spatiu Dumitru Dorin Prunariu 14 mai 1981

3. ASTROPHYSICS AND COSMOLOGY : THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE
These lessons are for the program WUT Summer School
Short description Starting from the idea that scientific and religious knowledge also involves establishing the place and role of humanity in the universe, modern science (physics) has established a series of coordinates that comprise the scientific knowledge and description of the dynamics of the universe from its birth to its present form, using mathematical and experimental means. That is why this field, although extremely interesting and appealing to the general public especially since the direct detection of gravitational waves in LIGO project awarded with the Nobel prize for physics in 2017- , is accessible only by the mathematical and scientific knowledge of the person who is approaching it In addition, day by day cosmology and astrophysics are becoming an element of contemporary culture and the idea of a graduate student (of any specialty or field) with no knowledge of the Big-Bang, black holes or the expansion of the universe is inconceivable. This is the role we expect this course to have, without formulas, without mathematical calculations or sophisticated explanations from physics, but with an illustrative description of the main concepts and ideas of modern astrophysics and cosmology. In addition, we will give special attention to people and their history that have developed this field, which is the greatest adventure of the human mind of modern times.
