The journal welcomes manuscripts presenting information not previously published in other journals, in the areas of Materials Science, Theoretical and Computational Physics, Applied Physics, Medical Physics. The submitted manuscripts are peer-reviewed, insuring a high standard of scientific quality to the accepted articles.
Aims and Scope
The Annals of the West University of Timisoara – Physics
(Analele Universitatii de Vest din Timisoara – Seria Fizica) publishes original papers in the fields of Materials Science, Theoretical and Computational Physics, Applied Physics, MedicalPhysics.
Editorial Policy
Starting in 2014, the Annals of the West University of Timisoara – Physics is published in electronic format only, one volume per year. The journal welcomes paper
s written in English, and the autors are encouraged to have their manuscript reviewed for language before submission.
The Editorial Board will consider for publishing only those manuscripts that have not been published or simultaneously submitted for publishing elsewhere. The submission has to be approved by all of the authors and they have to agree to the automatic transfer of copyright
to the publisher, after the manuscript is accepted for publication. Each submission is subjected to the blind peer review process, being sent by a member of the Editorial Board
to two reviewers. The corresponding author will be notified by the Editor by email when a decision for publication is made, and the authors will be asked to answer all the reviewers questions and comments and to take into account the
suggested revisions when preparing the final version of the manuscript.
The journal does not have article processing charges (APCs) nor article submission charges.
The editorial board uses the CrossCheck system in the peer-review process.
